Federation Ballroom

The Federation Ballroom is a classically designed, highly versatile venue with a high ceiling. Holding 340 for a sit-down banquet, it can be divided in two for smaller events. The Ballroom is ideal for gala dinners, large presentations, road-shows, car launches and cocktails for up to 600.

Gallery

Conveniently located adjacent to the Federation Ballroom, The Gallery is perfect for pre-function gatherings or as exhibition space for larger conferences. The Gallery has its own baby grand piano. 

Centenary Ballroom

Centenary Ballroom is a richly decorated, opulent room. It exudes atmosphere and style making it one of Canberra’s most exquisite venues for a glamorous cocktail party for 220 or an elegant wedding reception for 150.

Canberra Room

The Canberra Room can be divided into three smaller rooms, all of which open onto the attractive garden, the Ambassador Courtyard. This versatile venue is ideal for board meetings, dinners, presentations, and wedding receptions and as a conference breakout room. Refreshments can be enjoyed in the privacy of the Ambassador Courtyard.

Assembly Room

This is an intimate meeting room ideal for seminars and private dinners, holding up to 40 people.

Business Centre

For smaller meetings and workshops, private offices and conference rooms are available in the Business Centre. The Business Centre boardroom can accommodate a maximum of 20 people.

Courtyards

Incorporate an outdoor venue into your event in either the Lavender or Rose Courtyard. Located in the original part of the hotel, the Art Deco feel is evident throughout the manicured courtyards. They are particularly suitable for wedding ceremonies and receptions, or a corporate cocktail party on a beautiful evening.

Autograph

An elegant room with a dedicated wine cellar and fine dining spaces. The room can accommodate a maximum of 14 people. 

Lounges

Set within the heritage section of the hotel both the Howard and Griffin's lounge are carefully curated spaces. Luxurious in design with classic furnishings and a fire place.
